Service Attendant/Busser

Job Summary:

Corner Bakery is seeking a hardworking, attentive, and team-oriented Service Attendant/Busser to support our front-of-house operations. In this important role, you will help create a clean, comfortable, and inviting environment for our guests by ensuring tables are cleared promptly, dining areas are spotless, and guests’ needs are met quickly and courteously. You’ll play a key part in delivering the exceptional service experience that keeps our guests coming back.

Service Attendant/Busser Responsibilities:

• Clear and clean tables promptly and thoroughly between guest seatings

• Sanitize tables, chairs, and high-touch surfaces to maintain cleanliness and safety standards

• Restock utensils, napkins, and condiments in the dining area as needed

• Assist guests with seating, refills, or special requests in a friendly and professional manner

• Monitor dining room cleanliness, including floors, trash bins, and beverage stations

• Support other front-of-house staff by running food orders and assisting with guest service

• Perform opening and closing cleaning duties as directed by management

• Communicate with team members and management to ensure seamless service

Service Attendant/Busser Secondary Functions:

• Assist with light custodial tasks, such as sweeping, mopping, and trash removal

• Support dishwasher and kitchen team during busy hours

• Help maintain cleanliness and organization of the beverage and service areas

• Participate in team meetings and training as needed

Service Attendant/Busser Requirements:

• High school diploma or currently pursuing one

• Previous experience in a restaurant or customer service role is a plus, but not required

• Friendly, positive attitude and a strong sense of teamwork

• Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions in English

• Physically able to stand, walk, lift, and carry items throughout the shift

• Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

• Possess or be able to obtain a valid Foodhandler Card, as required
