Part Time Delivery Driver Job Description:

Jimmy John's Part Time Delivery Drivers are the heartbeat of our "Freaky Fast" delivery service. The goal is simple—get our delicious sandwiches into customers' hands as quickly and safely as possible. Delivery Drivers learn the most efficient routes, double-check orders for accuracy, and hustle with a smile—while always obeying traffic laws and safety guidelines. Delivery driving with Jimmy John’s means cash in your pocket every day, thanks to tips and Driver Maintenance Reimbursement (DMR).

When not out on delivery, drivers support in-shop operations and are paid accordingly. This includes preparing sandwiches, maintaining restaurant cleanliness, and delivering exceptional customer service.

We’ve been a leading Jimmy John's Franchisee for over 15 years with 12 locations in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. Our team is filled with passionate people who started just like you—as part-time drivers—and have grown into full-time and leadership positions. Pay & Benefits:

• Hourly rate: $7.25–$8.25/hr

• Average earnings: $18–$25/hr (Hourly + Tips + DMR)

Part-Time Delivery Driver Responsibilities:

• Take phone orders and complete delivery tickets courteously and efficiently

• Deliver sandwiches quickly and safely using a personal vehicle

• Accept payments and reconcile cash with management at the end of shift

• Support in-shop operations by making sandwiches and maintaining cleanliness

• Greet customers, operate the cash register, and answer questions about the menu

• Ensure 100% accuracy in order preparation and execution

• Display a positive, professional attitude and follow all dress code standards

• Maintain cleanliness across the restaurant, including restrooms, floors, and stations

Part Time Delivery Driver Requirements:

• At least 18 years old

• Valid driver's license and proof of insurance

• Clean driving record and at least 2 years of driving experience

• Must have a reliable vehicle

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

• Strong customer service skills

• Willingness to follow Jimmy John’s standards and complete sandwich training tests
