Job Summary:
ESA Management, LLC is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our housekeeping team. In this important back-of-house role, you’ll be responsible for the cleaning, handling, and proper care of hotel linens and guest laundry to maintain our high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working in a structured environment, take pride in cleanliness, and understand the importance of supporting a well-run hospitality operation.
Laundry Attendant Responsibilities:
Operate industrial washing and drying machines according to company procedures
Sort and wash linens, towels, blankets, and guest items as needed
Treat and remove stains using appropriate cleaning agents and techniques
Fold and organize clean laundry neatly and efficiently
Inspect items for damage or excessive wear; report any issues to management
Maintain cleanliness and organization of laundry area, including machines and supplies
Restock housekeeping carts with clean linen when necessary
Follow all health and safety guidelines, including proper use of chemicals
Support the housekeeping team with additional duties as assigned
Laundry Attendant Secondary Functions:
Assist in inventory management of laundry supplies and linen stock
Help maintain equipment cleanliness and alert maintenance to any issues
Occasionally assist in housekeeping room refreshes or public area cleaning if needed
Laundry Attendant Requirements:
High school diploma or GED preferred
Prior experience in a hotel, laundry service, or housekeeping environment is a plus
Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Able to understand and follow written and verbal English instructions
Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
